Ascend - Pan-Asian Leaders in Finance and Accounting

Ascend, formerly NAASA, the National Asian American Society of Accountants, was launched by a group of dedicated Asian American professional who are committed to advancing the accounting and finance professions in the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Launched in September 2006, Ascend Midwest is just beginning to spread its roots in Midwest area.   Leadership and membership of the chapter are from Wisconsin and Illinois with a concentration of members currently located in Milwaukee , Chicago and surrounding area.  The Chapter provides members opportunities to enhance leadership skills, be entrepreneurial, strengthen and develop business opportunities, and create a legacy for future generations. ASQ Northern Illinois Quality Conference (NIQC) 2009 is jointly co-sponsored by Chicago, Fox Valley, Heart of Illinois, Illiana and Northeastern Illinois Sections of ASQ since 1998.
